About Me
Shannon Miller is a writer, director, animator, and production designer based in New Jersey. She graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a BFA in film and a concentration in screenwriting. As a storyteller, her goal is to transport audiences into otherworldly settings while inviting them to confront issues that exist in real life modern day. She has a strong passion for creating little creatures as well as spending time with her two dogs.

"Phoenix" is a stop motion animated short following Mai, a teenage girl who has been practicing witchcraft in secret. Despite the risk of being disowned by her family if discovered, Mai sneaks out after dark to attempt a resurrection spell that may bring her family's farm cow, Daisy.
